Sorry for the delays, everyone. We have been pretty busy and the summer has taken it’s toll.
We have developed a new version that includes the ability to add categories to your Directory. We have a few finishing touches to perform before we post it, and need to test for the latest version of Wordpress. We hope to have this up by the end of August. We’re trying to catch up; sorry again for the lack of communication and silence.

I have been trying to implement your directory at whybuyohio.com for some time now, It does not submit for some reason. .Just sits there and says Submitting Form.. Please Wait
I hope that the new update at the end of August fixes this problem.
Is there a way for this to work with 2.8.3? I have it installed and it won’t pull from the form to the dashboard to approve it.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I got it working. I deleted the file and started over. No idea what happened, but it works in 2.8.3

What I am wishing out of a business directory plugin is the ability to generate random lists of directory members, and then place them on my sidebar via widgets. I can sell the hell out of a directory that lets me turn em into Google Adsense like ads.
Whoohooo! So looking forward to the new directory plugin! I will be using it on one of my other blogs that is in development and it would be nice to add this to coincide with the launch sometime in early Sept.
Will you let us know when it is available? I am happy to Pay for it as I know how much time and effort goes into a resource like this.

1. The javascript code of the directory is in every page of the blog. Is there a way to limit it to just the pages of the directory and the form?
2. Is there way to use some kind of alphabetic index?

i think this plug in is great, i dont have any issue, till now. i dont know what happen, but when you click the link to the first page of the biz directory, looks like a post, and the contacts show themselves all plasters with others, when you click to next page and click back to the first, looks fine. i dont know how to fix this, somebody told me, its the code, but i dont know anything about programing. i apreciated the help

i find the problem, it was something with google analytics plug in. i make a mistake addin to the site, or something like that, im a rookie bulding sites, actually i dont know hahaha, i love this plug in, can wait for the final edition!
Categories is going to be the killer feature, looking forward to giving it go once you get them..
Yippee! I’ve been wanting to switch my business directory to use your plugin, but categories were a must-have feature. I’ve been faithfully checking your site every few weeks for months! I’m so glad that the next update is finally on the way.

Watching this for some time now, we need the categories option. We would be happy to beta the new version, on one of our test sites before going live.
Our directory is hand input, (by category) and takes a lot of time to change, all in HTML by us the publisher of the site. We know a more automated method would be appreciated by our users too.
